You are welcome. You are valued. We see you.

We're building a bigger, more welcoming table, where the neighbor who needs a meal and the neighbor who can cover one sit down side by side. No separate lines. No labels. Everyone eats together, and everyone belongs.

Welcome.Valued.Seen.Appreciated.
Why Mosaic

Everyone needs a third place.

Somewhere besides home and work. A place that's yours, just for belonging.

There's home, there's work, and there's a third place: the spot where people feel a real sense of community. When home or work gets shaky, that third place matters most. Mosaic Cafe is built to be exactly that. A warm room, a good plate, and a seat that's always saved for you.

In Comal County, food insecurity isn't a distant statistic. It's neighbors, many of them working and many of them kids, choosing between groceries and the next bill. We're here to meet that need with a meal and a welcome, not a means test.

Pay What You Can

One menu. Three ways to settle the tab.

Our menu boards show a suggested price as a friendly reference. What you actually give is between you and your circumstances — and every guest is treated exactly the same.

1

Pay what you can

Give the suggested amount, or whatever fits your budget today. No questions, no judgment — just a hot, nourishing meal.

2

Pay it forward

Able to give a little more? Cover the cost of the next neighbor's meal and keep the table set for someone who needs it.

3

Give time, not money

Short on cash? Lend an hour in the cafe in exchange for your meal — and become part of the team that makes this place run.

Suggested prices keep the lights on. The table stays open to everyone, every day.

More Than a Meal

Built on three things we won't compromise

Exceptional food

Nutritious, made-from-scratch meals with locally sourced ingredients — supporting our farmers while we nourish our neighbors.

Real community

A gathering place for workshops, events, and ordinary good days — where neighbors from every walk of life share the same table.

Inclusive pricing

Pay-what-you-can means quality meals stay within reach for every income — and everyone keeps their dignity intact.
